18th November 2009: QWPG representatives and Wiltshire Councillors meet with the developers
QWPG representatives and Wiltshire Councillors met with the developers on Tuesday 17th November.
We are now clearer about what will be happening along Quakers Walk. The developers are in the process of selecting a contractor to do the job of laying the sewer pipe and relaying the path.
It seems unlikely that work will start until the New Year. They have offered us a meeting with the contractors to work out the detail. They have also promised to look at the option of a temporary parallel walkway on the adjoining field. So it was a useful first meeting at which we were able to put forward our points and they seemed to take them on board.
Let's hope that the dialogue will continue.
